I had my first Starbucks experience when I was 13. My mom treated me with my first Frappucino when she brought me with her to her office in the Department of Tourism (DOT) along UN Avenue in Manila.
It was a mind-blowing experience.
You see, I grew up in Bocaue, PH in the 90s. Back then, there were no McDonald’s or SM in the area. We had, on the other hand, Dunkin Donuts.
Some coffee enthusiasts would argue that DD’s brewed coffee reigns supreme over Starbucks’. It’s stronger, cheaper, and tastes better. Yet despite these arguments, Starbucks has been the dominant coffee force in the PH. Why? Well, while they focus their products on serving high quality drinks, they pride themselves on excellent customer experience.
They have a cozy and inviting atmosphere in their stores, providing a comfortable space for customers to relax and enjoy their beverages. They ask for your name, would sometimes even intentionally add some cute notes on the cup, and their baristas all have this cheery mien (Fun fact: their baristas are trained to remember your name and favorite drink especially if you are a loyal customer).
In short, its not really the coffee that attracts its customers — its the experience and overall vibration.. They have created such a strong reputation and consistent experience across different locations that they could double the value of their product and customers would still flock their stores.
If you are vibing at such high frequency, you will simply attract forces to you — may it be customers, ideas, opportunities.
So here’s some tips on how to improve your income/ business this 2024:
i) Visualization: In manifestation, visualization is a powerful tool that helps align your energy with your desires. Similarly, in customer experience, businesses often visualize the ideal customer journey and envision how they want customers to feel at each touchpoint. This visualization helps guide the design and implementation of strategies to create a positive experience.
ii) Co-Creation: Manifestation often involves co-creating with the universe or a higher power to bring about desired outcomes. In customer experience, businesses co-create the experience with their customers by actively listening to their feedback, understanding their needs, and involving them in the design and improvement of products or services. This collaborative approach helps tailor the experience to meet customer expectations. So, bring that positive outlook in the workforce and collaborate, you will create genuine experience for everyone. Your boss/ customers will notice (trust me!)
iii) Focus on positivity: Manifestation requires believing in the possibility of achieving your desires and adopting a positive mindset. Similarly, a great customer experience requires businesses to have a customer-centric mindset and believe in the value of creating exceptional experiences. This belief and mindset drive the actions and decisions made to prioritize customer satisfaction.
I have over 15 years of experience in Customer experience and customer journey. Trust me when I say that there is a relationship between your vibration and positive outlook in how you run your business and how you show up to work daily. I can relate to the analogy you used as I am a DD customer for decades, and have found myself patronizing only in recent years the SB experience you talked about.
